Hi guys, hope you’re all well! Last weekend was the penultimate round of the 2017/18 Trophée Andros at Lans en Vercors, where I was able to take my second win of the season!

The format of the weekend means that all of the sessions come very quickly one after another. There wasn’t much ice on the track on the first day, which meant that the car was really tricky to drive and we unfortunately didn’t make the Super Pole.

We made a lot of changes to the car ahead of the first race, as we knew making up ground from seventh was going to be tough. The track is very difficult to overtake at, so we couldn’t gain any positions, but setting the fastest lap was some consolation.

For the second day we made more alterations to the setup, and in the qualifying two I adjusted my driving style, which allowed me to take pole position. After being third in Super Pole, I went on to finish second in the race, setting the fastest lap, which meant we won the second day!

It was really good to win, as we struggled at the start of the weekend, but every time we change the setup, we improve the car a lot, so it’s a big step from last year.

Despite having some bad luck this year, I sit fourth in the standings, so overall we’re in a really good position.

Comtoyou Racing also won the Teams’ Championship this weekend, which is a great achievement. The crew deserve it for all their hard work at all of the events.

The final race of the season is in Super Besse this weekend. The track is similar to Andorra, and the conditions will likely be similar to those in Lans en Vercors, so I hope that we can hit the ground running, and end the season with another win!
