We had a difficult 24 Hours of Spa, having to retire our WRT – W Racing Team Audi Sport R8 LMS with an electrical problem just before the five-hour mark. The team did a great job to keep the car competitive, with the top 40 qualifying within 1.3 seconds.
Thanks to my team-mates Stephane Richelmi and Nathanael Berthon, and also to the fans for bringing that classic Spa atmosphere. Now we head into the summer break, before I return to action in the Italian GT Championship at Imola.[:fr]Salut tout le monde, j’espère que vous avez passé un bon week-end !
Ces Total 24 Hours of Spa 2017 ne nous auront pas souri puisque notre Audi R8 LMS No6 du Belgian Audi Club Team WRT a connu un problème électrique après moins de cinq heures de course. Cela n’enlève rien à l’écurie, qui a fait du super boulot pour nous donner une auto compétitive, comme en atteste les écarts infimes en qualifications avec 40 voitures en 1.3 s.
Un grand merci à mes coéquipiers Stéphane Richelmi et Nathanaël Berthon, ainsi qu’à vous les fans qui avez contribué à l’ambiance si particulière des 24 Heures de Spa. Place maintenant à la trêve estivale avant un retour à la compétition prévu du côté d’Imola dans le cadre de l’Italian GT Championship.[:]
